Fala-me do teu percurso profissional até à data.
Sempre desde de pequena que dancei. O meu primeiro contacto com o público foi através da dança.

No entanto comecei na Escola Profissional de Cascais durante tres anos, quando acabei segui para fazer um ano de dança- teatro na escola da Olga Roriz e segui de imediato para a Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema.
A nível profissional fui intercalado com os estudos. A minha primeira peça profissional foi com 17 anos. A partir daí , fui sempre estudando e trabalhando.
No entanto comecei na Escola Profissional de Cascais durante tres anos, quando acabei segui para fazer um ano de dança- teatro na escola da Olga Roriz e segui de imediato para a Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema.
A nível profissional fui intercalado com os estudos. A minha primeira peça profissional foi com 17 anos. A partir daí , fui sempre estudando e trabalhando.

Com 19 aos fiz a novela Espelho D’ Água na Sic, continuei a fazer teatro, e quando acabei a licenciatura tive a oportunidade de estagiar um ano no Teatro D.Maria II. Houve outras peças de teatro que fui fazendo, tal como uma série que estará para sair em breve que gravei o ano passado chamada : Capitães do Açúcar , na Rtp. Recentemente, fui para israel aprender uma técnica específica de dança , que se chama Gaga.

Porque decidiste seguir esse caminho?
Foi muito espontâneo. Na verdade não decidi, aconteceu , ou melhor houve essa abertura para mim. Não pensava sequer na altura
o que significava ir estudar teatro. Estava era ligada à dança ( como hobby).
A minha mãe disse-me para ir fazer uma audição à Escola Profissional de Cascais fui e fiquei. Ainda hoje olho para trás e penso: a vida por vezes encaminha e sabe o que faz. E estar aberto à vida ajuda.

Qual seria outro percurso profissional que adorarias ter escolhido?
Este mesmo. Gosto de outras coisas, mas sinto que ser atriz , e ir-se sendo atriz ( digo isto porque o actor para mim está sempre no caminho de Ser e acontecer ), é uma área que inclui tudo o que gosto e me vejo a fazer. Trabalho a palavra ( e tudo o que isso envolve ), o corpo/ movimento, a imaginação, as emoções, o pensamento, a expressão.
No entanto, outras áreas como por exemplo modelo, interessa-me explorar. Massagista, comunicação, psicologia, artes plásticas, letras … tenho muitos gostos.
Mas é uma escolha. Todos os dias. Ser artista, é uma escolha.
Qual foi o momento mais marcante da tua carreira?
Não tive, ainda. Já tive muitos momentos e projectos marcantes mas não considero ainda nenhum O mais marcante. Todos são caminho!
E no trabalho que tens onde gostavas de chegar um dia?
Gostava muito de ter oportunidade de trabalhar noutros países; com outros actores, companhias, encenadores, directores … viver fora uns tempos a fazer o que gosto.
Gostava muito de começar a estar mais ligada ao cinema/ séries.
Gostava ainda de passar por muita coisa. A frase: “onde queres chegar” , parece que fecha, acaba quando chegar a esse supostamente fim de meta. E agora, não há fim para mim. Vislumbro uma quantidade de experiências que gostaria de ter, bem como sítios e pessoas que gostava de trabalhar.
Ainda assim, fazer diferente no meu país e puder trabalhar cá é muito bom. Poder dialogar com sítios e espaços em que a cultura não chegue tanto , trabalhar com a comunidade.. interessa-me .
Não tive, ainda. Já tive muitos momentos e projectos marcantes mas não considero ainda nenhum O mais marcante. Todos são caminho!
E no trabalho que tens onde gostavas de chegar um dia?

Qual é o maior desafio na tua profissão?
Tem que ver com o trabalho do ator; e acho desafiante não ficar apegado à imagem e em oposição poder valorizar a minha e usar o que sou e tenho sempre a meu favor.
Poder partir para cada projeto de forma única e nova.

Acho que o maior desafio também de um ator é a predisposição para contar aquela história todos os dias, para ser aquela pessoa com tudo o que é e somos, com todas as emoções, com toda a sua bagagem e história.
Mas tento que o presente, o que estou a fazer, seja marcante.

Se pudesses mudar 3 coisas no mundo (que estejam ao teu alcance) quais seriam?
O despertar mais vezes para os valores humanos, que acho que são a base para muita coisa, como por exemplo: a empatia , Amor, honestidade, respeito, liberdade, responsabilidade …
Sermos cada vez mais conscientes; haver uma consciência seja a nível global e individual.
Mudava todo e qualquer tipo de ideias e ideais ainda existentes como o racismo, o machismo, a homofobia. Mudava todo e qualquer tipo de pensamento que não aceite a liberdade de expressão, a diferença. Bem como a violência.
Como defines o teu estilo? O que valorizas quando escolhes a tua roupa?
Sinto que ainda hoje “não tenho um estilo”. No entanto, há dias que gosto de roupa simples
outras vezes que gosto muito de padrões, cores e formas. Há dias que gosto de ser discreta como por vezes gosto é de ser
expressiva e expansiva. Conjugar ou não os dois.
Não escolho a roupa de uma forma muito pensada, a não ser que seja obrigada Ahah. Escolho espontaneamente e intuitivamente.
Escolho sempre no que me apetece vestir e como me sinto a usar aquela roupa específica naquele dia. Está ligada talvez as emoções : o que sinto ou o que quero sentir naquele dia.
O que sentes ao vestir Wheat & Rose?
Elegância. Mas tendo as cores que têm , há também uma certa maturidade que se tem que ter para as usar. (Quando falo nesta maturidade ligo também directamente a esta questão da mulher ser mais do que uma coisa, ser mais do que o estereótipo). Poder usar seja em que corpo, forma, estrutura quiser.

Tell me a bit about your professional path.
Ever since I was a kid I danced. My first contact with an audience was through dance.
However, I started at the Cascais Vocational School for three years, when it ended I went and did a year of dance-theater at Olga Roriz's school and immediately went to the Superior School of Theater and Cinema.
At a professional level, I always interspersed this path with my studies. My first professional play was when I was 17 years old. From then on, I was always studying and working.

At the age of 19 I made the soap opera Espelho D’ Água na Sic, I continued to do theater, and when I finished my degree I had the opportunity to do an internship for a year at Teatro D.Maria II. There were other plays that I was doing, such as a series that will be coming out soon that I recorded last year called : Capitães do Açúcar , on Rtp. I recently went to Israel to learn a specific dance technique, which is called Gaga.

Why did you decide to follow this path?
It was very spontaneous. In fact, I didn't decide, it happened, or rather there was this opening for me. I didn't even think about that at the time, what it meant to study theater. It was linked to dance (as a hobby). My mother told me to go and audition at the Cascais Vocational School I went and stayed. Even today I look back and think: life sometimes leads and you know what you're doing. And being open to life helps.
What other career path would you have loved to have chosen?
This one. I like other things, but I feel that being an actress, and becoming an actress (I say this because the actor for me is always on the path of Being and Happening), is an area that includes everything I like and see myself doing. I work with the words (and all that it involves), the body/movement, imagination, emotions, thought, expression.
However, other areas such as model, I am interested in exploring. Massage therapist, communication, psychology, plastic arts, letters… I have many tastes.
But it's a choice. Every day. Being an artist is a choice.
What was the most memorable moment of your career?
I haven't, yet. I've had many remarkable moments and projects but I still don't consider any The most remarkable. All are a path!
What about the job you have, where would you like to get to one day?
I would love to have the opportunity to work in other countries; with other actors, companies, directors, directors … live abroad for a while doing what I like.
I would really like to start being more connected to cinema/series.
I still want to do many things. The phrase: “where do you want to go”, seems to close, ends when you reach that supposed end or goal. And now, there is no end to me. I envision a number of experiences I would like to have, as well as places and people I would like to work with.
Still, doing things differently in my country and being able to work here is very good. Being able to dialogue with places and spaces where culture doesn't reach so much, working with the community... interests me.

What is the biggest challenge in your profession?
It has to do with the actor's work; and I find it challenging not to get attached to the image and in opposition to be able to value mine and use what I am and always have in my favor.
Being able to start each project in a unique and new way.
I think the biggest challenge for an actor too is the predisposition to tell that story every day, to be that person with everything they are and are, with all their emotions, with all their baggage and history.
But I try to make the present, what I'm doing, stand out.

It changed all and any kind of ideas and ideals that still exist, such as racism, machismo, homophobia. It would change any and all types of thinking that do not accept freedom of expression, difference. As well as violence.
How do you define your style? What do you value when choosing your clothes?
I feel that even today “I don't have a style”. However, there are days I like simple clothes.
